The July–August 2026 session of Romania’s national Baccalaureate examination is being held according to the following official schedule. [W1]

Skills assessments

  • August 3–4, 2026: Romanian oral communication skills assessment – examination A. [W1]
  • August 4–5, 2026: mother-tongue oral communication skills assessment – examination B. [W1]
  • August 5–6, 2026: foreign-language skills assessment – examination C. [W1]
  • August 6–7, 2026: digital skills assessment – examination D. [W1]

Written examinations

  • August 10, 2026: Romanian Language and Literature – examination E.a). [W1]
  • August 11, 2026: compulsory profile subject – examination E.c). [W1]
  • August 12, 2026: elective profile and specialization subject – examination E.d). [W1]
  • August 13, 2026: Mother-Tongue Language and Literature – examination E.b). [W1]

Results and appeals

Initial results will be published by 12:00 noon on August 18, 2026. On the same day, candidates may view their papers and submit appeals between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Paper viewing and appeal submissions will continue on August 19–20, while appeals will be reviewed on August 20–21, 2026. [W1]

Final results will be published on August 24, 2026. [W1]
